1. Pour entire contents of bag into a non-metal bowl.
2. Add 1 ½ cups sugar and 1 ½ cups milk.
3. Measure out 4 separate batters of 1 cup each into 1 gallon freezer bags.
Mark each bag with the date.
Keep a starter for yourself and give the other 3 away
to friends along with a copy of this recipe.
Should the bags not be passed onto friends the first day, be certain to tell them what day the bag is on.
4. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
5. Add to the remaining batter in this bowl, the following:

Dry ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 ½ tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
2 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp baking soda
2 small boxes of instant vanilla pudding mix
½ tsp salt

The Rest:
3 eggs
1 cup oil
½ cup milk
½ tsp vanilla

Cinna-sugar:
½ cup sugar
1 ½ tsp cinnamon

6. Grease 2 large loaf pans and mix additional .
Dust greased loaf pans with half of this cinna-sugar mixture.
7. Pour the batter evenly into the pans and sprinkle the remaining mixture of sugar on to the batter.
8. Bake for one hour. Cool until the bread loosens from the pan evenly, about 10 minutes.

Optional:
Add 1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup dried blueberries
1 cup dried cranberries
or a combination of all three.

If you keep a starter for yourself, you will be baking every 10 days. The bread is very good and makes a good gift. Only the Amish know how to create a “starter” so if you give them away, you will have to wait until someone gives one back to you…ENJOY!
