Delivery of Food and Gift Cards to the Carying Place

We will be delivering the food and gift cards to the Carying Place families on Thursday, December 17th at 6:00pm.

Greenwood Forest Baptist Church Fellowship Hall

Cary, NC 27511

Several people mentioned that they would still like to participate. If your family has collected food or money and have not delivered it to my home, please respond to this email. I will be purchasing the gift cards very soon.

Thank you to all the scouts who addressed envelopes, stapled, delivered or gathered bags! We have tons of food and very generous gift cards for each family.

Food Collection Campaign Results

Pack 393,

Great news!! We have collected $518 and lots of food!! I’m still hopeful that we can reach $700.

Please bring any food and money collected to my home by tomorrow. I will be at my Cary home from noon to 4pm. You may also leave it on my back deck if those times do not work for you.

Please plan on joining us this Thursday evening to deliver the gifts. Look for an email with all the details.

I hope all the scouts experienced the “holiday spirit” by participating in our community service project!

Food Collection Wrap Up Tonight

Pack 393,

I hope that the scouts had amazing success on Sunday and enjoyed the project. My boys were so excited at each and every door that there was a bag waiting for them!

Please bring your food and cash donations tomorrow to the den meeting. If you are unable to attend, please bring the donations to my home in Cary by Sunday evening.

There has been a suggestion of making thank you cards. I would like to encourage you to make them individually for your neighbors, especially for those who were very generous!

Please consider donating food and money yourself. What a great way to teach by example!

I really appreciate all the efforts by the pack to complete this project. I hope that you will be able to join us next week when we deliver the food. You can truly see the impact of your help!
